Just a few thoughts before I start the 31 Days of thrills Challenge (Which is a much better name than movie-thon or whatever I called it).
The challenge is simple. 31 films, 31 days. All leading up to Halloween. And thanks to my new fangled laptop I can write my notes as I go along. Just in case someone should wish to view the punishment I WILL be inflicting on myself. There's no running order just yet, but alongside some classics ('The Thing', 'Halloween') we'll have some tripe ('Aliens Vs Predator: Requiem', 'Halloween III'). I'll also make the brave attempt to watch 'Manos: The Hands of Fate' all the way through without inflicting pain on myself or on others. No mean feat. And if you doubt me, 'Manos' means 'Hands', such is the level of incompetance from this film.
Anyway, I'll be posting regular updates as I go along, and will have another little blog right before I start.
